More than a conference

Together in the Trades is a place for couples in the trades to step away from the demands of business and everyday life, reconnect with each other, build meaningful friendships, and grow alongside couples who truly understand the journey.

Since 2021, we've brought couples together from across the trades for unforgettable experiences centered around marriage, business, family, adventure, and community. In July 2027, we're doing it again.

  • Strengthen your marriage with tools you'll actually use at home.
  • Grow your business by learning from couples who've done it.
  • Build friendships with like-minded owners from across the country.

The Experience

This is more than a conference

Together in the Trades was created around a simple idea: sometimes the couple behind the business needs to be poured into, too.

You'll hear from incredible speakers and have honest conversations about marriage, family, business, finances, communication, and life in the trades — but some of the best moments happen outside of the sessions.

They happen over dinner. On an adventure. During a conversation with another couple who says, “We're going through that too.”

Every Together in the Trades experience combines meaningful conversations, incredible destinations, fun activities, great food, and intentional time together.

You'll leave with new ideas for your business — but more importantly, we hope you leave more connected to your spouse, and with friendships that continue long after the event ends.

Testimonials

What couples are saying

“

Together in the Trades is hands-down THE conference to go to if you'd like to grow your marriage while owning a business together. Owning a business is hard as it is, but doing it with your spouse adds another source of potential contention. Here, my wife and I learn how to further our relationship and communicate better while simultaneously growing our business. We've been to every event and don't plan on missing any in the future!

My husband and I recommend this event to every couple in business together that we know! We've attended the last three years and have learned so many useful skills and tools for working with each other. We've also made lasting friendships with like-minded business owners from all over the country. It is by far the best investment you can make for your business and your marriage!

FAQs

Good questions, honest answers

Everything you're wondering about the Together in the Trades experience.

This event is for any couple in the trades industry — landscapers, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, welders, any couple that owns a business in the trades. You don't need to be married; you just need to want to learn and grow in your relationship with your partner.
Together in the Trades brings together couples from all over the country who want to strengthen their relationship and meet couples in similar circumstances. Whether you're dating, engaged, or married, there's something for everyone. You'll gain strategies to bring home with you to maintain and better your relationship, and build friendships that last.
Together in the Trades isn't simply another business conference. While business and entrepreneurship are certainly part of the conversation, our focus is on strengthening the couple behind the business.

Topics and conversations may include marriage while building a business, communication between spouses, working together as a couple, parenting and family, faith and values, finances, managing stress, navigating busy seasons, creating boundaries between business and home, leadership, personal growth, and building a life together while pursuing ambitious goals.

We also create plenty of opportunities to connect with other couples who understand the unique challenges that come with entrepreneurship and life in the trades. Our goal is simple: build stronger marriages, healthier families, better leaders, and a community of couples who don't have to navigate this journey alone.
The event is intentionally intimate — a total of 100 tickets, so 50 couples. That's what makes the connections so genuine.
Dates and location for 2027 are being finalized now. Join the list below and you'll be the first to know when they're announced — along with early-bird ticket access, since space is limited.
You only need ONE ticket per couple. Pricing for 2027 will be shared alongside the dates announcement. For reference, 2026 tickets started at $600 per couple (plus fees and taxes), with early-bird pricing that's well worth grabbing before it goes up.
The full multi-day conference plus our signature group activity. We provide breakfast on conference mornings, with light refreshments available throughout the day. Hotel accommodations are booked separately and are not part of the ticket price.
You're responsible for booking your own accommodations. After purchasing your conference ticket, you'll receive a booking link via email to the host hotel with any negotiated room block details.
Nursing mothers are welcome to bring their babies, but we ask that you respectfully step out if the baby becomes disruptive — this is a conference for couples and we want you to be able to focus on that. We ask that no children over the age of two attend, and we don't provide childcare during the event.
Come as you are — sharp casual is just fine. Most attendees wear jeans and a nice shirt. We want you to feel comfortable, so let's not get too stuffy.
